Quinn's 5th Birthday

January 28th was Quinn's Fifth Birthday. We celebrated at home with Breakfast-for-Dinner. His birthday party was on Saturday with five of his friends from school, and 6" of fresh snow on the ground. It was alot of fun!!!

Quinn's lantern is covered with orange and grey robots. We gave all the kids little LED lights for the lanterns, and they look lovely at night. The birthday cake: Joy of Cooking 1-2-3-4 cake with creamcheese frosting. Boy-robots have necks. Girl-robots do not.The robot pinata I made, based on Quinn's drawings (luckily, he hadn't yet decided about the gender-necks design!)Whaling on the pinata. It was very sturdy, and took over 100 hits--very good for little boys!
