Today we had tickets to go see GoalBall (US Women's team in the semifinals) at the Paralympics. It is a game for the blind--the ball has bells in it so they can hear it coming. When we got there, to a stadium a long way across town, at 8:30am, we were denied entry because of the kids. The audience has to be very quiet so the competitors can hear the ball, so I guess they decided to not allow children to attend--but no where did they make this public.
So here is a photo of our
Awesome Paralympic Experience. Quinn and the other kids are standing around, confused and sad. Chip and the other parents are demanding refunds at the ticket booth. There was some yelling, but also some eventual refunding!
Will had a pretty good time, though!
