Here are some photos from our trip last weekend to YangShuo, near Guilin. It was hot and humid, but altogether beautiful! We spent time on the river and touring a local cave. Our hotel was lovely, right on the river. (http://www.yangshuomountainretreat.com/) We stayed in the top-gabled room.
It is an ideal place to sit in a bamboo deckchair, with an ice cold beer, and just watch the river go by. (We travel with a 3 year old and a 3 month old, so this plan doesn't quite work!)
